He is a modern example of the Oldenburg breed, carrying 55.29% Thoroughbred. Landpirol is an approved and lifetime licensed breeding Stallion with the Oldenburg Verband, He passed his 70 day test with a great overall score of 110 and an outstanding jumping score of 128.72 in jumping, he finished 4th at his stallion performance test in 2001 at Adelheidsdorf and 12th place overall. Landpirol won elementary and medium level tests in the young horse series and was campaigned up to Grand Prix classes with placings in Europe.. He was a multiple winner of 6 year old classes and was placed 11th in the Final of the Bundeschampionat as a 5 year old and again 4th in the Kleine Finale as a 6 year old under the saddle of Marco Kutscher, competing up to 1.40m classes. He was then sold to Italy where he competed successfully on the International Showjumping circuit ridden by Antongiulio Pieraccini and Vieri Mugnaini. Landpirol also competed up to Advanced Level Dressage with Italian Dressage Rider Francesca Pollara who is currently qualifying to compete on the Italian Dressage team at the 2012 Olympics.
