Incredibly smart looking horse with naturally expressive, uphill paces. The ground covering canter is a particular highlight, with high knee action and good hind leg showing a natural ability for the higher levels. Being careful not to rush or over produce, Haarlem (Stable Name) competed successfully at affiliated Prelim and Novice in 2017, with +70% scores at both levels. Having spent the winter training with his new rider, the combination have now started competing at Elementary level gaining scores of +69%, class wins, and with positive judge’s comments praising Haarlem’s elasticity of paces, and classing as a super, forward thinking horse.
He has a lovely temperament in the stable, being a yard favourite and would happily be fussed & faffed with all day!
Haarlem is good to catch, shoe, clip, and travels in company or alone. This stunning horse hacks as part of his normal routine, enjoys time relaxing in the paddock, and jumps, showing some ability over a fence.Although very trainable and maturing well, Haarlem is green for his age so would require a competent/ professional rider to take him on to fulfil his full potential.
