16.2 Gelding 6yrs - suit amateur rider in all spheres.
This boy is a real gem he hacks out alone or in company past the biggest farm machinery usually with a dog in tow (doesn’t bat an eyelid when I’m screaming at the dog to sit down). Due to having to work I’ve also had to hack him out in the dark; be in early morning or late evening with just a head torch and again wasn’t fazed at all. (Picture evidence below) Very trusting horse that’s makes life much easier! Wouldn’t dream of bucking, rearing, bolting.
He will live in or out with anything and isn’t the dominant type.
Good to box, shoe etc...
He has raced in the past, finishing sound as a four year old so is eligible for ROR showing classes.
A very attractive horse with 3 correct paces, the judges really like him he has a lot of presence with expressive paces.
He is really satisfying to ride, has started jumping over coloured poles and loving it.
Every time I’ve taken him out he’s been completely easy and will stand in the lorry/at the burger van (his favourite) or in the warm up all day.
Will walk, trot, canter verges, open fields, stubble whatever you want and whatever speed and won’t tear your arms out or get silly. Snaffle mouthed. Although I think he would be best suited to an amatuer wanting to get out and about, he would happily go hacking and do fun rides for the rest of his life and make someone very happy!
I bought him to produce as my own event horse but we are getting married next summer as well as paying for my post grad degree and sadly something has to give. So please no time wasters as this is a hard sale.
Equally please no complete novices as I’d love this horse to go on and have a fun riding career be it showing, eventing, dressage, whatever!! I often put my novice fiancé on him to hack and they love each other, but he is a 6yr thoroughbred so no nervy or flappy pony patters.
His price reflects his attitude, ability and huge potential, however he is not a fully ready made horse and has a lot to learn.
I’ve loved doing everything so far and will be a nice horse for someone to produce further!
