Superb young horse that oozes quality, showing great promise and athleticism to be produced all the way for either showjumping or eventing.
Monica comes from a very strong dam line being the granddaughter of ‘Mayvis Davis’ who herself jumped very successfully with many top wins at 1.60m level, passing down fantastic heratige to produce this beautiful modern type mare. On the sire line she is from the 1.50m jumper ‘Dakar TN’ who also competes successfully at this level combining excellent breeding and blood for jumping from both sire and dam line.
Dakar TN is sired by the very well known ‘Nabab de reve’, another fantastic stallion that competed world class at 1.60m level and is known for handing down his fantastic temperament and super brain making this mare a top contender for sport.
Monica is a very easy ride, being light in the contact with fantastic paces on the flat, will do her changes each way and is a very sympathetic ride making her suitable for an amateur or professional to produce. She has a huge amount of scope and we feel she hasn’t even touched the surface of what she is capable of yet, being super quick and tidy from the ground to a fence and brave as a lion to any spooky filler, very quick thinking and adjustable.
Late starter due to having a foal at 4yrs and starting her career as a 5yo until covid stopped play. Monica has since been to training shows and competed at BS shows lightly jumping DC and being placed and is ready to start working towards newcomers onwards with more work and is sure to catch up with horses competing of her age. With this in mind, she is a mare with low mileage with years left in her to go on to be a consistent competitive horse in any discipline.
Monica would also be a serious contender for the American market as a hunter or equitation horse being extremely rhythmical, balanced, correct movement and the correct style jumping on a buckle end ride.
Clean limbed and open to any vetting/X-rays.
