Chilli
Chilli is a very sweet and attractive mare. She has many fantastic attributes and is from quality bloodlines. She is a light framed sports horse suitable for competing. Chilli is well bred which reflects in her appearance, nature, durability, willingness to work, athletic ability, power and freedom movement. Out at comps, we often get complimented on what an elegant horse she is.
Chilli is a sweet girl to have around, very loving and a pleasure to deal with at home and at comps. Making days out very fun. She is not "mareish" in any way, a we have only found her slightly more spicy when in season. Nothing unmanageable or that restricts her from her normal work routine. Previously, chilli has been a pony club horse and was ridden by teenager. I think her sweet nature and attitude to work would suit a young rider looking to compete and have fun.
Chilli has hunted, dressage, evented, sj, clinics, beach rides, hacks.
Chilli has 3 beautiful paces - natural outline, light on the front end and gorgeous hock action behind. He's dressage marks are getting more consistent all the time, with 7, 7.5 and 8's in her tests.
Showjumping is chillis strongest and favourite discipline. She loves it! Very keen, honest and safe. She has a bold comfy jump and has never stopped, no matter what is in front of her or if the rider makes a mistake. Chilli is a wonderful confidence giver and will give you many rounds of fun. We feel that a predominately sj home would chilli's preferred home. She is competing at 1m but can jump way higher at home
We have a genuine reason for selling chilli and I am truly sad about the fact she must go. As we have spent the last 18 months bringing her on, bonding with her and putting our hopes into her. I am hoping to move up the levels BE and would like to reach intermediate. Sadly chilli isn't a brave xc horse. In no way is she bad or naughty, she just finds the bigger xc scary and needs to have a look first before she will go over. If only she could walk the xc with me on comp days as then she would just fly over later!
Hunting, team chase or even just xc schooling with your friends she's fantastic, confident and jumps everything. It's just hard for her when she has to do it on her own
Even though competing xc isn't chilli's strongest discipline doesn't mean she hasn't got many wonderful qualities and potential fun and confidence to give to someone new. If I didn't want to event BE we would not be selling her
Good to do in all ways
Would suit:- Dressage, sj, hunting, pony club, teenager, affiliated or local comps.
Chilli is a fun sweet horse, with her eligant looks and athletic movements she is a real quality lady. With tons of experience ready to offer someone who wants to go competing
