Zantos is a registered Hanoverian gelding, born in 2016. He is by the Grand Prix Stallion Blue Hors Zack and his dam Hawaii is a premium Oldenburg mare. She is by Harvard x Hill Hawk.
Zantos has been bred for top class dressage and should mature around 17 hh . He is very modern and elegant in type.
Hawaii has been a very consistent producer of quality dressage horses including the Licensed Oldenburg stallion Fiji R who competes at Intermediare, several of her other offspring have competed successfully at British Dressage, qualifying for Regionals and Nationals. Her daughter Fantasia is herself a premium performance tested mare, who successfully competed at British Dressage including Shearwater four year old qualifier and final. Fantasia also received the accolade of being one of the first horses to be selected for the Equine Bridge Programme which is for potential international horses.
All of Hawaii’s progeny have been easy to break, prove to have great rideabilty and have good minds.
Blue Hors Zack is a stallion of exceptional quality which he passes on. Zantos is very much like Zack.
IN 2017 Blue Hors Zack made his International Grand Prix debut with great results. The year started well with top placings at the CDI of Herning, Hagen and Uggerhalne. In Darmstadt, in the Autumn he won theGrand Prix and Freestyle to music. It was the prelude to the World Cup in Herning where Zack and Daniel scored over 80% in the Freestyle to be placed fourth. This result was improved in Salzburg with a new record score. In the Grand Prix they ended up third with a percentage of 75 and in the Freestyle 80,375%. This was good for third place in the World Cup qualifier. 2017 was a super year for Zack and that promises much for the future
Zantos is very easy in every way. He has been well handled from birth and is a pleasure to have around. Good with farrier, vet etc.
