Ice arrived 4 weeks ago and we have quietly been getting to know him. He is a very affectionate loving boy who loves a fuss and is a pleasure to work with.
To ride he has all the basics, walk, trot and canter and good scope although still finding his technique. Hacks out alone and in company not a problem. Ice was broken as a 4yo then turned away due to other commitments, he was brought back into work at the start of the year and has done a few fun rides and training shows in Ireland.
He was foot perfect on the fun ride we took him on last week and could not be faulted from start to finish. He would be a brilliant hunt / Marshall horse.
Ice was nervous to mount when he first arrived but has settled in fine and now is not a problem - he will need an experienced rider to bring him on and bring him to his full potential.
He really is the sweetest boy.
