Cooley Guiness is gorgeous looking, well-bred and has the ability to go up the levels with a strong Junior/U18 Rider. He evented up to Intermediate level with previous owner (with a first place at Novice level). Currently eventing successfully at BE105 level. Safe, easy and not strong XC. Has been a gentleman for anyone that has ridden him.
He is a careful Show Jumper with good technique and he does an excellent dressage test often scoring in the 20s.
Guiness has three super paces and gives you a comfortable ride.
An experienced rider will get the best from Guiness as he can occasionally spook at a water tray in the show jumping, but doesn't do this with a firm, competitive rider. He is excellent to hack alone or in company (not spooky!) and to do in every way. He has a sweet nature and is easy to look after on and off him – a real gentleman to have on the yard. He is happy to live in or out and does not get fresh if not ridden every day.
Guiness is fit, sound and ready to go. He is still available due to time wasters and can be viewed now at Lucinda Fredericks' yard in Devizes.
This is a quick, sad sale due to owner’s daughter going to Uni, and a realistic price for a good home.
