Carenthago Z (Theo) is a stunning allrounder with a particular love for dressage. Qualified for BD Regional Championship first time for Elementary Freestyle and Novice Freestyle with 74% score and not lower than 5th place throughout the whole of the 2015 season. Started off the 2016 competing season with a win at Elementary Active trot with great presence in the collected work and expressive canter (regularly scoring 8's) and sharp transitions. Established simple changes and flying changes getting more balanced, mediums all improving week by week, rein back is extremely controlled, straight and balanced, leg yield and shoulder in both established with half pass coming on well. Passage and Piaffe are now being taught and he's coping well. Stepping up to Medium as soon as all Regional qualifications at Elementary are achieved and aim to progress to Advanced Medium by end of 2016 Highly rated by numerous dressage judges on the BD and BE circuit. Good Grassroots record with consistent dressage and jumping. Not as confident in the jumping phases as he is in the dressage arena so needs a confident rider to hold his hand and show him the way. Extremely scopey and careful. Loose schools 1.60 x 2.5m and has schooled over 1.50m at home. Sire, brothers and grand sire all top class show jumpers with numerous Olympic Gold Medals - Caretano, Carentino, Cathargo, Cor De La Breyer, Ramiro Z, the list is endless
