Beautiful young stallion: son of the spectacular and well named Wavavoom, shows all the power and sweetness of his sire, wrapped up in a package of pure pony charm.The success started early for this young man as he and his full brother, Woodlander Wallis, topped the scores for Sports Ponies as foals in 2011 and 2012, and topped the rankings again in 2013. In 2011, Wales was also the Supreme Champion of the SPSS show and in 2013, he took two Stallion Championships for the Sports Pony Studbook Society and the WBS - UK - the latter with a record score of 85%!This is a package for both FEI ambitions and for the national sports pony. His temperament is absolutely charming, but he does like to go…and go…and go. His dam, Helen, was bred by Mostyn Powell out of a very successful section C mare line and Helen is from the homeland of welsh pony breeding in the welsh valleys. It is these welsh lines that formed the basis of the best of German Pony breeding.Wales is suitable for all pony mares but with full size mares is unlikely to breed a pony size.Now under saddle and preparing for his performance test in Germany, he is a total star with a truly sweet nature plus the forward thinking needed for a top dressage performer.
