Description

Louise was born in March 1974 to parents Cliff and Sandra Williams a younger sister to Paul and Tracy . Sport was part of normal every day life as Cliff was an avid rugby and football player and referee and boxed previously , Paul had Captained Cardiff city youth and Tracy was already embroiled in the Equine way of life and a regular International team member. There were always youngsters involved in sport of all shapes in the family home looking for mentoring . Louise took to showjumping at an early age and started representing Wales at 128 cms level her first cap Being at Wales and the West HPI on the little speed merchant Bionic Baby in 1984 from then on in they came thick and fast and Louise often represented Wales on more than one pony at the same time in different height sections. In the meanwhile Louise Qualified for the Horse of the Year Show on her home produced pony Marmite in 1986 . Louise then made the progression onto horses at a young age to make it easier to travel to the same shows as Tracy and had her first taste of international success with the character building Young Riders horse More than Enough winning the Welsh National Grade C championships beating Tracy into second place . Louise then represented young riders in all grades at the same shows grade C , grades A&B and even the novice teams as Tracy handed down The diminutive but superb Chessico and Mr O'Keefe to Louise . Soon enough Louise Qualified Mr O'Keefe for Horse of the Year show Young Riders final and after taking over the ride of Phoenix Palermo her partner Johns ride qualified him for the Young Riders Final at the Royal International and Mr O' Keefe for the Ladies Final . By now Louise had earned the postion of most capped Welsh Rider to date . Louises natural progression onto horses also brought along the first of her Senior international experience in Goes in Holland . Louise also branched out in to eventing and showing and as her competition diversity developed so did Louise and she then followed the natural path into teaching by gaining her BHS teaching qualifications and then her ND and HND in equine . This also brought about her interests in breeding the right sort of horses to compete and she then developed a keen scientific interest in horses culminating in attaining her Equine BSc and her Artificial Insemination Technition qualifications. Louise currently breeds and produces competition horses for all disciplines alongside competing and teaching all levels of horses and riders Whilst her two children are also following the sporting route as eldest Kieran has played Rugby Union throughout the age grades at district level for Cardiff Blues and is now studying his second year at University at USW studying a Bsc in rugby and sports after just completing his studies at college in sporting excellence majoring in rugby achieving D*D*D* , and the youngest Kassandra is following down the equine route competing ponies and having a keen interest in producing the young horses and developing the breeding program whislt studying for her GCSE s at school .
