Description

Olympic and 4* event rider Rebecca Howard has been developing her coaching and clinician skills since her days in Pony Club (Level A). Rebecca is a thoughtful and creative coach - working with students at advanced levels through to novice clients with lessons and coaching. Rebecca is also happy to ride client horses to better establish the basics, helping to prepare horses for their owners to take over the reins and meet their competition goals. A former working pupil herself, Rebecca is committed to helping young riders develop their own careers in the sport. As such, Rebecca has successfully launched some of Canada’s current listed riders into their upper level careers. . Rebecca is available for one-to-one and group training sessions on-site at her training base in the UK, Sunhill stud or can travel to facilities in the area. Likewise, Rebecca can work with students to prepare a more intensive, residential training program to help them meet their goals. Rebecca will improve your horse’s confidence and 'understanding of the job', whether this is at introductory or international levels of performance. Rebecca employs a system of progressive fundamentals to every equine athlete she works with, drawing on experience with race horses and polo ponies, starting 'babies' or competing advanced level horses. Your horse’s education is conducted both from the ground and in the tack – with considerable emphasis on ground rules and structured problem solving
