| Proven Progeny | Bernwode Benedict’s first foals were born in 2010 being very much stamped by their sire’s looks. Eventing foal Hartpury Rockstar, scored 18/20 for Athleticism at his Futurity Evaluation and Winston was awarded 1st Premium as Dressage pony yearling & Reserve High Score. In 2013, a filly foal, Welford Bella (out of Sandra), received a High First Premium as a dressage pony foal and a colt foal, Cornsay Cognac (out of Cornsay Sloe), got a High First as an Eventing pony. Becks is a good match for most pony mares, especially those that need improvement of temperament, movement & jumping technique. He is also perfect for smaller sport horse mares to breed quality sport ponies of the ideal size for the international market. Becks returned to Bernwode Stud in 2013 before moving to Cowance Stud at the end of the year. |

| Graded studbook | Bernwode Benedict, aka Becks, was the first UK bred, and SPSS registered stallion to successfully grade in the UK. For the past four years Becks has been working with the stud course students at Hartpury College, showing his brilliant attitude and easy going nature. Becks has also offered several of the smaller students an opportunity to train and ride in the Hartpury stallion displays and compete at affiliated Dressage. Becks has been placed on each of these dressage outings scoring up to 7 |
