Natal is very closely related on both sides to Calido 13th in the World’s leading sires list. Calido is out of Natal's granddam and by While his sire is ranked 6th.
Natal won various competitions and was placed in the finals of the Stallion Competition and the Bundeschampionate for 5-year-old jumpers. Jumping Index 150. And now his offspring are proving the talents of Natal and his family.
Together with Caretino and Landgraf I, two of Holstein’s best stallions, and like Ramzes x sired Rasputin, Natal is bred only for jumping.
His dam line is also full of jumping genes. The grand dam of Natal bred the international show jumpers Libera, Candaletto, Calido and Crat. His dam also produced (besides Natal) the international show jumpers Aron and Bollvorms Athletico.

In 2001 WBFSH rankings of top show jumping sires of the world he ranked 5th being the youngest at 18 years old, in the top ten.
2009 he is ranked 4th in the world ahead of great sires such as Cassini, Voltaire, LiberoH, Burggraaf and Guidam.
Caretino is by Caletto II, the most important son of the Holsteiner breed mainstay Cor de la Bryere, the sire of Cavalier Royale.
Caretino is one of Germany's top stallions, producing horses that excel in both the dressage and jumper rings. From the latest (2001) WBFSH rankings of top jumping sires, he is ranked #5 and is the youngest, at 18 years old, in the top ten. With more than 100 offspring, known for their astonishing movement and jumping ability, in sport, Caretino has 18 approved sons and 114 daughters, of which 12 are German State Premium. Recently Caretino was one of four to be accredited as an approved KWPN stallion without having been presented at the Stallion Show nor evaluated on the constitutional requirements of the KWPN.
Caretino is by Caletto II, the most important son of the Holsteiner breed mainstay, Cor de la Bryere. Caletto II is said to embody the perfect traits of the Holsteins: noble and expressive, long-bodied, correct conformation, excellent gaits and exceptional jumping ability.
As a young stallion, Caretino won his 100-day test in the Holsteiner Verband with the brilliant scores of 9.0 and 9.5 in jumping and 9.0 in general performance.

Granddam Osterblume bred the International Show jumpers Libera (with Jos Lansink) *Calido (E. Blaton/C. Kappler), Crat and the approved stallion Candeletto (C. Velin) also an International Show jumper.
Osterblume was ranked third on the list of successful broodmares according to the "WBFSH International Breeding Guide 1997/98."
Libera was for years the most important Grand Prix mare of Jos Lansink after which she was sold to America where she won the Grand Prix of Wellington and Palgrave with Hap Hanssen. Libera is also the half sister of the approved stallion Candaletto who won, for one, the Grand Prix in Helsinki with Charlotte Velin. Her other half brother, Calido, participated two times at the European championship with Geir Gulliksen after which he was sold to Denys Lynch who also won several Grand Prix with him. Traumerin, another half sister of Libera is the mother of the approved stallion Athletico, who jumped internationally with Ludger Beerbaum and Natal who is approved in the KWPN studbook.
