I am a 33 year old professional event rider, married with two young children Olivia (4) and Jack (1). My wife, Sarah, and I run Gubby Eventing from our beautiful yard at Clarendon Park, near Salisbury, Wiltshire. I am dedicated, determined and always striving to improve all aspects of my work, to compete and be successful at the top of our sport. I am a true horseman with, now, many years experience under my belt. We enjoy great support from a fabulous group of owners who love the sport and being a big part of Gubby Eventing. Skills Profile • Producing horses from youngsters throughout the levels and up to four star. • I have the experience and skills to develop my horses under my own programmes, but also work very closely with selected trainers to help expand my knowledge further. • The ability to understand and adapt what I learn and apply it to different horses. I can work on their potential and get the best out of them. • Resilient to the highs and lows the sport throws at me. • Training others to improve their riding and build a better relationship with their horse. • The expertise to manage a successful business, which is financially viable. • Good people skills and work ethic.
