Established in 1985 we aim to provide a safe and friendly yard where you can learn to ride and look after a horse/pony. Adults usually ride in individual lessons or join our popular 'Take Back the Reins' courses (supported by Sport England and BEF) for new and lapsed riders. There is a weight limit of 12 stone for all riders. Children ride in groups or individually. There is no minimum age so young children can start when they are keen to. Our 'Fun Days' include a ride and pony care sessions where children can spend a day with us and take home a rosette. We run a Helpers Club for children who want to spend more time at the stables. We are a Pony Club Centre so members can earn badges and certificates for achievements and take part in the Pony Club Centre League Competitions. We hold regular Clear Round Jumping competitions for our riders and there is often the opportunity to hire a pony to go to a local show.
