Description

Glencarrig Dolphin started his competitive career in 2014 as a 4 year old. He won the Arena Eventing at Vale View and qualified for the British Eventing 4 Year Old Championships at Osberton where he finished 10th. He also won the Intermediate One Day Event and Combined Training at the Connemara Performance Event. In 2015 he won at BE100 level, only once finishing lower than 5th and was placed in the M&M Working Hunter HOYS Qualifier at Lincolnshire Show. He then repeated his 2014 success by winning the OPEN One Day Event and Combined Training at the Connemara Performance Event. Last year he was only lightly evented as he was very busy with his stud duties having had 42 mares. He won his only BE100 event and was 6th in his first Novice and again won the Open at the BCPS Event. He also excelled at Arena Eventing finishing 5th in the BE100 Finals at Blenheim and 2nd in the Finals at Osberton, having won two qualifiers for the latter. This year he was 3rd in his only British Eventing BE100 Open, to date and has qualified for the Show Cross Finals at the Festival Of The Horse Championships

He walks in at the Hockerwood Stud at Upton, Nr Southwell, Nottinghamshire where fresh and chilled semen is available.
