Here at Hampshire Horsebox Hire, we’ve made our pricing structure really easy so that you know exactly what the charges are when you hire one of our horseboxes.

No hidden extras, no fuss – just simple horsebox hire that’s right for you.

Our horseboxes are well-maintained and serviced regularly to ensure that you hire them in tip-top condition.

So whether you need to hire a horsebox for a show or meet, a day or two out eventing, to pick up a new horse or move your horse, we offer comprehensive self-drive hire that you helps you to focus on the most important bit – getting your horse from A to B.

HOW DO I HIRE A HORSEBOX?

Hiring one of our horseboxes could not be simpler. All our horseboxes can be driven on a car licence. Here’s what you’ll need to hire:

your Photocard Driving Licence
a recent Utility bill (dated within last 60 days and in the same name as your licence)
your Credit or Debit card (same name as licence)
£50 non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made less than 7 days before hire commences will incur the full hire charge.
printed copy of your DVLA Check Code (see below)

You’ll also need to provide us with a DVLA Check Code – this is so you can prove that you do not have 6 or more points on your licence. Unfortunately without this, we can’t hire our horseboxes out as you will not be insured.

Make sure you have the following to hand when you access the DVLA Check Code site:

your driving licence number
National Insurance number
your post code

The check code is valid for 21 days and you will need to bring a printed copy of it when you pick up the vehicle you are hiring from us.

Make sure that you are able to meet the above requirements and have the correct driving entitlements when you arrange to pick up the horsebox. Failure to produce the correct documentation will result in refusal of hire and remember your deposit is non-refundable.
