Description

I am a German qualified Bereiter and Pferdewirtschaftsmeister and a successful Advanced Dressage rider. I run a training livery yard in North Shropshire with super facilities in a quiet, calm setting. I have years of experience both since having set up my own yard but also whilst working in both Portugal and then Germany at top Grand Prix yards. When I was 17 I spent one year working in Portugal at a Grand Prix dressage yard near Porto where I gained experience with Iberian horses, afterwards i moved to Germany where I spent 8 years. Firstly doing a Bereiter Apprenticeship and then once I had qualified, working as a Bereiter at Wolfgang and Sabine Egbers' Grand Prix yard near Nordhorn. I was very lucky to be given the opportunity to compete in Germany. Both with some of their young horses, and also with an advanced horse up to Intermediare 1 level. I started my own yard in Shropshire after returning to the UK in 2007 and began by producing dressage ponies. One of which, Valido's Sunshine, went on to European Gold Medal success under Rebecca Bell last year. I have also trained my own horse Damascus up to Intermediare 11 level and competed him successfully up to Inter 1 level. I now concentrate on training livery and teaching and bringing on my current horse, Favita. I have also done several filming sessions for Horse Hero website with 6 different horses during the course of this year. Teaching wise, I currently train the winner of this years Badminton Grassroots Eventing Championship as well as two International Para riders.
