DipWCF & AWCF Registered Farrier
Daniel is a dedicated farrier who competes regularly throughout the country and abroad. He has competed in The World Championships, National Championships and British team championships. Competing at such a high level and working alongside the very best farriers in the world has influenced Daniel's work and helped him to achieve an exceptionally high standard of work. He is also active in CPD (continued professional development), attending conferences, clinics and lectures to ensure that his knowledge is constantly updated and current.
Daniel was trained by Mark Preece (AWCF) who holds the highly regarded Associate of the Worshipful Company of Farriers. Mark is regarded as one of the top farriers in the country, representing England in numerous shoeing competitions and moving on to manage the England horse shoeing team. Working for Mark in his early career, enabled Daniel to gain vast experience shoeing all types of equines.
Daniel is Qualified as both a DipWCF (Diploma of the Worshipful Company of farriers) and the further examination AWCF (Associate of the Worshipful Company of Farriers) Which is an examination of Remedial and Therapeutic shoeing techniques and uses of modern materials.
Daniel's clients include leisure, professional, individual and large yards. He is also available to provide therapeutic and remedial shoeing.
Daniel makes many of his own shoes to meet individual needs for the equine. He has a fully fitted van, offering a reliable and efficient mobile service.
