Description
International Grade II Para Dressage rider. Currently on the BEF World Class Programme as part of the podium potential squad.
Currently based and training with Sacha Hamilton.
I started competing in Para Dressage in 2010 after I had a riding accident in 2005 where I sustained a spinal cord injury leaving me with L1 paraplegia, so I can't stand or walk. I ride with compensating aids which help me in the saddle, I ride with 2 whips, Velcro strap from girth to stirrup, and Velcro on slip on boots and stirrup to help keep my lower leg and foot in place, I use a leather grab handle for balance, I am allowed to use my voice and I am allowed to salute with head only.
I have competed at many national championships and internationals, having just moved up to 3* level in 2015.
