With over 40 years of riding, I have a passion for the correctness of training as opposed to competition - mainly because you cannot have the latter without the former !!
I have a huge tool box of exercises that can be used to improve performance and gymnastic ability and am happy to teach these during a lesson.

Bardley Bowen is a small private clinic offering horses, riders and humans Bowen Therapy.
WHAT IS BOWEN
Bowen is a very gentle complimentary therapy that works on a whole range of conditions including muscular skeletal, emotional and visceral dysfunctions. It is believed to work by stimulating the nervous system, and by acting as a ‘factory re-set’ for the body it helps the body to restore optimum structure, functionality and health.
Bowen is good for both acute and chronic issues. It treats the whole person and because it is so gentle, it is effective for animals and humans of all age ranges.

ABOUT VICKY
I have been playing sport and riding horses since I could walk. I wanted to start my equine training when I left school, but my parents advised me to go to University, which resulted in a BEng and an MSc in engineering.
To reach my goal of treating Horses and Riders, I had to start with the Human Bowen. To my surprise, I loved it. It was not just a means to an end (treating horses), it was totally satisfying in itself, and I still love the effect that Bowen has on my human clients. I qualified with the European College of Bowen Studies in April 2013 and after an intense period of training, I qualified as an Equine Bowen Therapist in May 2015 – probably the most satisfying qualification I have ever achieved !
Many people contact me as they have been recommended by a friend, and the variety of conditions that I have treated, and continue to treat, is huge. I am immensely proud that I am able to use The Bowen Technique to help so many people, horses and horse and rider combinations.

| Locations | Worcestershire, Shropshire, Gloucestershire, Staffordshire, Herefordshire and the West Midlands. Human clients are welcome to be treated at the clinic, but horses will always be treated at their yard. This mobile service extends to treatments in your own home, which is useful for those with working restrictions or those with travel restrictions. Dogs will also be treated in their homes - a change of location, a different human and a car journey can increase stress levels in a dog and not be conducive to healing ! | ||
| Prices | A human treatment is £35 A horse treatment is £45 A canine treatment is £25 Depending on location, there will be a small additional charge for diesel. There are also treatment packages available so please call to discuss ! | ||
