Description
Arkol by Argentinus has been much admired since winning the 4 year old class at The British Showjumping National Championship at the Scope Festival in 2011. He has since consistently won 5 year old classes at Arena UK, Addington and Scope. In 2013 Arkol has had three wins in the Six Year Old Tour in Valencia. He will be campaigned by Billy Twomey who considers him to have the talent and scope to be part of his top string of horses. Arkol is a type hard to find, bringing a superb temperament along side the quality needed to put on most jumping mares being covered to produce a modern athlete. Arkol's Sire - Argentinus - prolific sire of world class sports horses, both in dressage and jumping. Including the infamous Arko III, considered by many to have been one of the greatest show jumpers of all time. Arko III, also passes on his talent through his progeny - this is seen in Argento, amongst many others. Air Jordan Z, also by Argentinus, another example of progeny, successful to the highest level of Show Jumping, and a Sire to elite, high value, competition horses. Arkol's Dam, by Kolibri - who stakes claim to 16 approved sons and more than 60 state premium mares. He presented the champion stallion in both 1993 and 194 and belongs to a coveted group whose progeny exceed in the show jumping arena. His most successful progeny include 'King Kolibri' (Lauren Tisbo) 4th in the Canna Cup 5 star GP in Calgary and 5th in a 5 star GP in Wellington both 2012, he was also 7th in the 5 star GP of Dublin CSIO under Jos Lansink 2011, 'JL's Komparse' (Janika Sprunger) winner of numerous 1m50 classes in 2012 including those at 5 star Aachen CSIO, Geneva and Munster, 'Kaimon' (Werner Muff) 10th in the Aachen GP and 2nd 4th and 5th in the Nations Cups of St Gallen, Aachen and La Baule in 2012 and also 'Komtesse' (Marcus Merschformann), 'Kleopatra' (Christian Ahlmann) and 'Kosar' (Nelson Pessoa).
