Experienced Groom Required

We are looking for more experienced hands to join the Springtime Equestrian team. We currently have around 25 of our own horses ranging from the ages of 20 to 6 months so experience handling all ages is important. For the right individual there are opportunities to help produce top eventing young stock, with the initial ground work, training and lunging. Included in day-to-day activities are the usual grooming duties for a yard of 14, as well as giving makeovers to the younger horses coming into the competition yard (clipping, pulling manes and tails, bathing etc). There are innumerable opportunities for a competition groom with competitions every week both international and unaffiliated. Experience on other high level eventing yards is preferred as we are a yard that recognises attention-to-detail in the day to day running of the yard so we are looking for someone who will care about the horses as if they were their own, puts their all in and will go the extra mile if needed. In return we like a relaxed, fun atmosphere on the yard and are careful to appreciate the work our beloved staff put in. On site accommodation available.
