Otis is a rising 4yo (May 2018), 17.1hh, gelding, he’s very compact and has a huge amount of horse power. He is clean limbed and has good, strong feet and has been very well cared for in his first few years.
Oti has been with us since a yearling and has grown into the most lovely and beautiful big horse with all the power and potential to go a very long way. Otis has been professionally backed and sympathetically produced over the last 3 months, he has been to plenty of outings and his first dressage competition.
He is super safe and sensible, but also sensitive and forward going. He’s easy enough for an amateur but more than smart enough for a professional looking to add to their string. He is bred to show jump but has all the talent to be a pure dressage horse, with a good walk, a powerful trot and the most super balanced canter. Oti has only ever been loose jumped once and has jumped under saddle about 5 times (inc. a couple of training outings), proving to be brave and careful, however, we have been focusing more on producing the basics and establishing his flatwork.
He has a personality to die for, he is super affectionate and friendly and is very easy to handle and care for. He loads and travels well, on his own and in company, he’s great with everything, inc the farrier, the physio, the dentist and is not phased by traffic or going to new places. He’s been ridden on grass and in an indoor arena, with other horses and on his own, he really does tick all the boxes! We think very highly of this horse and only the best possible home, where he can reach his potential, will be considered.
Absolutely no novices or hobby riders, he is a top class young horse that wants showing off.
