As smooth as melting choclate this young stallion is an athlete for the dressage arena, with generations of good British Breeding overlaid by the impressive performance blood of Dante Weltino. All of the characteristics that distinguish a main sire have been united in his sire, Dante Weltino OLD. A fabulous mover, the 1st Reserve Champion of the 2009 Oldenburg licensing in Vechta fulfilled his performance requirements in 2012 by qualifying for the Bundeschampionat in the class for five-year old dressage horses. The Hanoverian Verband also approved the sparkling black stallion for breeding that year. Ever since Dante Weltino OLD’s first foals arrived, everyone has been talking about them. A son named De Supreme won the 2nd Lodbergen Foal Championships and was the most expensive colt at the Vechta Elite Foal Auction. Dante Ferro, the 2011 Lodbergen Champion, was knocked-down in Vechta for 29,000 Euros. Another Dante Weltino OLD son named Damenball was sold for 20,000 Euros. Now ridden by Therese Nilshagen for Sweden, he is successful at Brand Prix and won the Grand Prix Kur in Denmark in 2016. Not just a pretty face. The dam line carries the successful blood of the great thoroughbred Niniski, an athlete on the track and the sire of top money winners. This has nicked well with the thoroughbred blood of the Hannover approved dressage producer, Maat I, through Medoc. A stallion making good bodied horses, Medoc also bred good showjumpers and sports horses and performed himself in both Grade A and B Showjumping and Advanced Medium Dressage.
