Ribamontan is a stunning grey stallion imported from the renowned Senoria de la Bariain Stud in Spain. His sire, Lastur is the son of the famous Grand Prix Dressage stallion GAUCHO III. Gaucho III is half brother to INVASOR who represented Spain at the Olympics twice and the World Equestrian Games bringing home medals on each occasion. Gaucho III, also a Grand Prix Dressage stallion was sold to the USA and has competed very successfully internationally.Ribamontan stands 16hh and has 8.5 inches of bone. He is a straight mover with expressive paces and a temperament to die for. Currently working at medium level and competing BD including Freestyle Classes. He is very typical of the Andalusian Breed as he is very rideable and trainable. Ribamontan travels and hacks out with mares, geldings and other stallions and is turned out daily in the field next to mares. He is the ideal sire for any dressage or pleasure horse and everyone falls in love with him and his affectionate nature.He has been DNA Tested and this confirms that he CANNOT sire any chestnut progeny regardless of the colour of the mare. All his foals will be born bay or black and a percentage will go grey.
