Samaii is the first British bred coloured stallion to be approved for breeding in Germany & is one of only a handful of British bred stallions to be approved there, of any colour! DAM Berolina is an Elite graded, performance tested, Hanoverian Verden auction mare who has produced 2 licensed stallions -Santano WBS Reserve Champion stallion & Samaii, along with a Premium Oldenburg filly foal. She is from the highly regarded Hannoverian Stamm line of Dorte which has produced stallions Acambro, Almaden (USA), Dombek, Dynamit, & Salvano - the latter is the sire to stallions Salieri - sire of Anky`s Olympic Dressage Champion Salinero - & Sherlock Holmes. GRANDSIRE Brentano II was the Hanoverian Stallion licensing Champion in 1985 and winner of his Performance test in 1986. In 2003 he was awarded the prestigious title of Hanoverian Stallion of the Year. He is the sire of 17 licensed Hanoverian stallions and 2 Olympic/ World Cup Team horses - Brentina ridden by Debbie McDonald USA and Barclay II ridden by Sven Rothenberger, Netherlands. Brentano II`s dam line is one of the most important for Hanoverian breeding tracing to the Schumann-mare S449. He is currently the sire of 89 State Premium mares including St Pr Dea II Champion mare at the Ratje-Niebuhr-Schau Verden 2000. The stallions Garibaldi I and II, Wolkenstein I and II, Beltain, and the Grand Prix star, Beauvalais are all closely related to Brentano II. Bonaparte ridden by Heike Kemmer was 2003 most succesful dressage horse in the world. Brentano II is also sire of Bundeschampion Benetton Dream & the dam sire of Bundeschampion and World Champion Poetin, as well as Samba Hit I, II and III.
