Ideal first competition horse- a mothers dream! Would suit a keen eventer, ridden and produced by a teenager, same home for the past 5 years. Has evented up to BE Novice with placings at all levels with the same rider. Competed up to 1.10m BSJA with winnings. Dressage needs improvement but has much to give in this discipline, flashy paces and an eye catching boy. Amazing show jumper, could easily excel in this discipline due to a huge amount of scope and a willing mind. Always wants to please, and willing to help his rider out. Has saved me many a time when I've messed up his stride!! Otto really enjoys cross country and appreciates being ridden very forwards over the first few fences to get into the zone. Very capable to compete at the higher levels, could step up to intermediate with ease next season with the right rider. Absolute saint to hack alone and in company, lead other horses from him and lead him out from another horse. Happy to wait or lead, even if the other horse canters off ahead! We take our three dogs out hacking and isn't phased by them at all.
Not spooky, hasn't got a bad bone in his body, never reared, spun, kicked, bucked etc. He has been hacked by extremely novice riders and a competent 12 year old girl, never put a foot wrong. Perfect to hunt, has done all pony club and riding club activities, as well as competing on the teams. Easy to do- load, travel, shoe, clip, with the vet and dentist etc.
He is regularly led around by my 5 year old nephew and just goes with the the flow, he has a very cheeky personality and is a joy to have around. Absolutely heart breaking sale of my gorgeous boy, selling due to traveling early next year and it just wouldn't be fair for him to not have a job as he loves his work.
