Description

Update is a total darling in every way. He is kind and gentle with mares and people alike. He is charming and handsome with straight uphill paces and has tremendous presence. Loads of bone and a calm attitude to life making him the perfect cross with TB and lighter mares to produce fabulous competition horses. Update has had a limited career under saddle, in his youth he either won or placed at every outing but then found himself without a rider so was solely used for breeding, he has now been brought back into work and enjoys going out to local shows where he has won at both dressage and showjumping from a limited amount of mares Update has produced some amazing progeny. his youngstock have proven themselves at county level in the showring and gradings with the BEF, his older progeny are now proving themselves under saddle, qualifying for the winter regionals in dressage and eventing at novice level, he is the sire of the graded stallion Amazing Jigsaw who won at county level showing, was reserve champion at the Royal Welsh and will be aimed at BE 1* this year in his 2nd year competing at BE , his progeny inherit his calm nature and trainability. The one thing we hear time and time again is just how easy his progeny are to back and produce both with proffessionals and amatuers alike making him a perfect cross for sharper mares. Update is great choice not only to produce your next equine partner but is now passing on the wonderful heritage of his Samber lines to his grandchildren that have been successful in both the showring and young event horse classes, he really stamps his stock and we feel sure he will leave a legacy through them.
